Privacy Policy

MirrorsSphere by Midgard X · Last updated October 20, 2026

In short: we use your name and email to run your account, your city or address only to centre the map, and we never sell your information.

What we collect

How we use it

Location

MirrorsSphere does not track your device's location in the background. The map shows the area you choose. To load maps, weather, flights, elevation and other public data, the services listed below receive the map area you're viewing, not your name or email.

Services we use

Netlify (hosting and account storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (password reset emails), OpenStreetMap and Esri (maps), Open-Meteo (weather), NASA (satellite data), Bluesky and Mastodon (public posts), and public government data services. Each handles data under its own privacy policy.

Where it's stored and for how long

Your account is stored with our hosting provider and in your own browser on each device you use. We keep it while your account is open. Ask us at info@midgardx.ca to see, correct or delete your information, and we'll respond within 30 days.

Children

MirrorsSphere is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and note important changes in the app.
